i wasn't able to report to work today because i locked myself out of my room. shortening this tragic storytelling, everything i needed for work (change of clothes from bath, laptop, bag) was inside. i didn't even have my phone with me so i wasn't able to check my mails if there was anything urgent. i suppose when you have no choice but to stay in and sleep longer, no urgent work is that urgent enough. (why am i grinning?!)
a good friend of mine, over lunch in a Summit i attended yesterday, asked me (from nowhere!) ---- "so, if you receive your annulment's decision, what's the first thing you're going to do?"
i almost chocked on my greens but i knew i had to answer. "Go to DFA, i suppose." ang korny ko raw. she was hoping that i'd do something celebratory like eat ice cream, drink. so i told her, "but those are normal things for me."
which only means --- i have been celebrating my life all these years (almost 4) without him after all.

Ayen Munji (now Laurel) said that the first thing she did after that (amicable) divorce with her Royal spouse, she threw an eat-all-you-can party, and she ate voraciously to her heart's content...wa care for poise or protocol.
