kung fu panda 2 was more than fun. it was filled with so many quotable quotes and surfaced several sensitive issues on family and personal relations. more importantly, it emphasized that a person is not defined by his/her past. s/he can learn from it and move on hence defining his (her) person, directing his (her) fate.
i have to agree with this. because if it weren't so, i would have simply accepted that i am not meant to be in a relationship since my marriage went sour years ago or that i do not deserve little successes here and there because a marriage, intimate as it is by itself, is personal yet it failed.
however, i do not want to take sole credit for being able to weather the storms past. i always have my family, my dear friends who are willing listeners or just simply a quiet comfort to my hurts and frustrations. and there is God, whom i have not bugged as often as i used to but i know who always looked after me. if it weren't for His grace, i would have been defined by my past: a loser.
