"happy 1st birthday Bo and Lee.  has it been that long? i thank God for you --- you have given me more than you could imagine.  thank you for the opportunity to be beyond what i could be.  if there is one thing that i have really progressed in, it's loving unconditionally despite all the trying times, especially when it could have been easier to give up on you than fight for the "us."  God bless you, and i pray that you grow up to be healthy, affectionate boys that you already are."
