realities that you face every day

life's lessons for (real) grown-ups:

1.  no matter how decent you strive to be, how low-key, hardworking and professional you are, there will always be people who will doubt you, put you down and/or make an effort to ruining you.  accept this reality but continue to live with dignity and work with passion.

2. life is a bitch and karma will kick you in the heel, and if you don't breathe inequality, what is there to fear?  it is easier to fall prey to evil but it is more joyful to do good. it is far more rewarding to sleep well at night because you have nothing to feel guilty about or be ashamed of.

3.  be honest.  communicate.  talk sincere.  speak up.  kind words go a long way but sometimes to be frank is a wake-upper.

4.   delegate but be accountable if you're boss.  you can assign tasks but not accountability.

5.  balance work and play.

6.  practice what you preach.  inspire.

7.  read read read!

8.  learn from every thing and every one.

9.  know when to let go.

10.  give thanks.
