1. Heavens must have heard my plea. there is now Pam, who will make sure that i get my mani- and pedicure rituals on schedule, AT HOME! i am not only back to my regular pampering but i can enjoy it within the comforts of my room! (Kinarir ko na talaga ang pagiging homebuddy ko.) God bless him. he does know what he's doing and is very good at it. (And thanks to TESDA for training him well!). Pam is also supportive of my choice of polish --- red kung red --- that made me one really happy client.
2. my boys to give me my instant and constant fix of "huggies" and "kissies" and that much needed cuteness when they are all asleep, and yes, quiet.
3. the yummy ginataang puso that i ate for late lunch and the grilled liempo that brought me back to childhood.
4. a friend's email prodding me to apply for a vacancy in her office because she read my FB post that i was already naiinip for THAT call. (although i haven't updated my resume yet for that particular vacancy. i need to think things over, whether i am open to considering going thru the motion of application again.)
5. playing bet game with my family, munching on homecooked adobong mani, ordering french fries and nuggets from McDonald's at 3AM and losing sleep because our winning streak just got momentum and sleeping in because i have the time to do so
6. our dentist whom i can bug at midnight when my braces' wires are all protruding or an emergency root canal had to be done
7. feasting on tikoy while watching the impeachment trial and finishing off a bag of kiatkiat while enjoying a foot massage at home
8. chats and emails from friends --- sharing going-ons in life, asking help on a research, commenting on my, almost always, babaw FB status/posts (sometimes, it does help to feel needed and important. it is good for the self-esteem.)
9. Garci being found and imagining how joyful and pure relief it was for him (and jo's family) to be reunited. (i cannot imagine how i'd be if one of the boys stray. aside from not knowing how fast they would speed away and run to wherever, i am not sure if there'd be a good samaritan out there like the family who took care of Garci. God bless them.)
10. getting the color i wanted for my hair and getting a better trim (at home!) because the cut i had from David's Salon was a disaster (according to my standards!). (i so remember Elle and her wise words --- i am to be blamed for not speaking out when i see the stylist murdering my hair.)
11. Mom and Tina's oatmeal cookies that perfect my "once a day coffee" moment
12. my niece telling me how she liked my posts and complimenting how beautifully i write. (i am extra blessed to have friends who write so exceptionally well, that always encourages me to not stop writing and sharing my thoughts.)
13. watching the recent Coke commercial about Lolo Mario and being reminded that "karapatan mong lumigaya" and wishing that everyone becomes nicer so happy-ness is realized
14. prayer time and those reaffirmations that there is grace from joyful anticipation
15. going thru photos of friends' reunions, weddings, travels; watching videos of Colin and reading friends' blogs --- that highlight how important and life-changing family and relationships are, not to mention, how love, fun and laughter make all these exciting
16. my conversations with mr p and those moments of "just being there, side by side" after his day at work
17. For God's grace that i remain patient and yes, hopeful .. and trusting too (when He knows how impatient and doubtful i easily get)
18. and for realizing that this List is worth doing week after week.
