yes, after weeks(?) of not blogging, here i am. still alive.
i think, this has been my busiest month since i started working after UP graduation. when before, i would work from home like check my mails, reply and that was it. now, i check my mails; and it results to me emailing more, checking my files, calling people, ticking off things from my TO DO but adding more bullets to that list. my only consolation to is that after the Conference i am organizing, my workload is back to just the insanely loaded state (not "insanely-loaded-toxic-and-always-urgent" status as it is now).
aside from being the responsible (read: OC) me, i also encourage myself to do all these with a smile so work does not burn me out. i am at that point when i do have second (and third) thoughts on whether all these hard work is worth anything at all.
but the better deal now, i have an excuse to splurge and be materialistic. i am going to buy myself a nice bag i have been wanting to treat myself with. it is functional. not to mention, in very limited stock. i am kilig with excitement because i have extra moolah for that. i will not have to starve myself for months or walk to and from work.
a friend of mine reminded me that UP people have to re-think their priorities and strengthen their commitment to give back to society. i have been doing that for years!!!
and puhleez!!! what is one bag? it's not even a birkin!

naku pie, go for the bag. it is after all your gift for yourself after working very hard. screw those who say that UP people have to rethink their priorities. i think he/she said that to the wrong person. hehehe. yes, UP people have to give back to society because they are iskolar ng bayan. question is, when will the rest of society give their own commitment? tsk (at naglitanya naman daw ako rito)
miss you sis
