isang palaisipan

reading a book or watching a movie impacts on you differently every time you do so again (and again). i remember re-reading The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks at different time lines of my "very colorful" love life.  i cried (naturally!) but i knew i was crying for a different reason when i read it again after participating in SSEAYP.

i watched Armageddon earlier this afternoon with mr P, and i never thought how beautifully crafted it was until today. its OST is one of his favorite materials when editing (aside from Pearl Harbor and Gladiator), and i realized i have better appreciation of the technical side (which is actually the more labor-intensive aspect of it) of films/TV shows now but i am still more critical (and appreciative) of the plot, the characterization and the lessons it imparts.

i have this funny, amazing habit of reading (again!) and watching (for the Nth) time books and movies that touched me.  mr P and i usually suggests films to each other we'd want to watch together.  these are films that are either reminiscent of our youth or our individual favorites. too bad, i can't egg him to read. he's too lazy for that he admits but he does not mind if i do story-tell a good book i finished. how convenient is that?!

before watching Harry Potter 7 this November, i will surely surely read my HP7 again, and i will do an HP 1-6 marathon. these we have on file.

hmm.. maybe, just maybe, i'm all ready to finish "The God of Small Things." sana hindi na ako mawindang katulad ng dati.
